Not a Scientist

How Politicians Mistake, Misrepresent, and Utterly Mangle Science
Jul 07, 2018AaronAardvark1940 rated this title 4 out of 5 stars
This quick read lists twelve ways in which science is misrepresented, with a focus on politicians. Admittedly, they are an easy target, because they rarely know much about science (wouldn't it be fun to see some of them on that Jeff Foxworthy game show?), and because they feel a need to represent their sponsors. Levitan gives examples for each of his categories, including silly stuff like Inhofe's snowball toss. This little book is a good guide to help understand how politicians try to mislead us.
