1977's "Pete's Dragon" is clearly a moldie-oldie from Disney Studios that is only suitable for an audience of very-very-very young children. I don't think this one would even entertain a 10-year-old.

This pre-CGI production's animated dragon "Elliot" has got to be one of the most clueless and annoying characters in a fantasy film that I've seen in a long-long time.

With a running time of 129 minutes - This picture really pushed the limits when it came to testing my endurance for sitting through it without fast-forwarding about every 5 minutes.

All-in-all - This was a totally forgettable picture that I think actually had the potential to be a lot of fun. But, it failed to deliver.
