I was introduced to Fall Out Boy in the early 2000s with a "Sugar We're Going Down". That song, while barely comprehensible in places, had an infectious energy that made it an instant earworm. I'm happy to say that, while FOB became a lot clearer in their lyrics over the years, they did not lose that energy. American Beauty/American Psycho is full of it! "Immortals," which later made it onto the Big Hero 6 soundtrack, holds the listener to the very last second. Other highlights include great sample work on "Centuries" (sampled "Tom's Diner), and "Uma Thurman (sampling the theme from The Munsters). Songs to stick in your brain!
