I really like this cookbook. Everything I've made from it has been good and there are more recipes I'd still like to try. I love the spice cookies and have made them every December since I first tried the recipe. They have an unusual combination of ingredients that may not seem like they would all go together well (warm spices, dark chocolate, brandy-soaked currants, and citrus zest and juice), but I think they're delicious. I also really liked the cannellini bean and lamb soup served with zhoug and the spinach salad with dates and almonds.
