My family is trying to eat less meat, and the five recipes we've cooked from this book - pad thai, tortilla soup bar, Asian soup bar, bean burgers, and fried rice - have all been hits. Each master recipe has lots of variations and choices, so you can use ingredients you have on hand (or those your picky eaters will tolerate). Also, each was made in less than 45 minutes, my time limit for weeknight cooking. A good collection of basic recipes.
