Man, Mr. DeMille should have left well enough alone after the fabulous "The Lion's Game," but I guess he couldn't. This book is pretty much the same as the first one, and details (ad nauseum) what a wonderful killer Khalil is until he forgets everything he knows and gets himself in deep with our hero, John Corey. It almost seems like Mr. DeMille was pressured into writing this and given really tight timelines to get it into print. The movie-of-the-week ending is not what I've come to expect from this author. Give it a pass unless the only other book available is something recommended by Oprah.
