*Refers to print edition* (5 stars) I never thought I would become an Izzy fan, but he cracked me UP! I don't think I have ever laughed so much during a sex scene. As for Jenk, while I've liked his character for a while, he is definitely more "perfectly flawed" than I had expected. Brockmann did an excellent job making both Jenk and Lindsey simultaneously admirable and messed up. She's totally right to call him on his interchangeable brides, but she's downright cruel at times and blinds herself to her own emotions and motivations. Jenk is awesome, but not as much of a paragon as some of the other heroes in the Troubleshooters series. The plot was intense; torture is always hard for me to think about and some of the gory details didn't bear too much reflection. That said, it was another excellent book, accompanied by a sweet bonus short story about Sam, Alyssa, and Jules.
