The Myth of Male Power

Why Men Are the Disposable Sex
May 28, 2012Jean-Pierre Lebel rated this title 2.5 out of 5 stars
Back in 1993 when this book was released I'm sure it was a good read and offered readers food for thought. Almost 20 years later this book doesn't seem necessary and it's arguments are bordering on silly. Farrell puts forth arguments to show that men and women should be equal in all respects and that society really only pays lip service to the concept. He lays out examples of why men are not in positions of power as suggested by feminists. I stopped reading about half way through; the book was repetitive and really went nowhere.
