A lovely movie that accomplishes the lion's share of its runtime with a minimum or entire lack of spoken dialogue. Also an interesting commentary on capitalism and big box stores.

Such a beautiful film about love with an environment theme.

This movie is entertaining and also has a great message about the life and protection of our earth

Hands down my favorite Disney/Pixar movie. Wall-E loving the movie Hello Dolly means that we are soul mates.

I love this movie and a great bonus is that the children love it too. It is a good film to cause a discussion related to the fate of our planet. It was a startlingly realization of how at times humanity seems to fit the complacent role in terms of destroying the planet.

Decent family movie, Mickey has made better films though.

Released in 2008, still so relevant. The story unfolds so beautifully that you can't help it but love them.

A great family friendly movie. The target audience is young children and it does provide some morals in the story related to keeping fit, recycling and saving the planet from pollution but I did not find them overly heavy handed. The story between WALL-E and EVE was quite nice as well.

This movie demonstrates the consequences of continuing to litter our planet as well as what happens when technology develops the capacity for love. WALL-E is a robot that picks up trash from planet Earth every single day. However, after existing for hundreds of years he has now developed a personality and a lust for love. He follows another robot named EVE into outer space, where he ends up alongside where the human race is now inhabiting. Here, we see the gluttony of people as well as our harmful ways. This is a story with an important environmental moral, as well as a cute robot to fixate on throughout the film. I would rate the movie 4.5/5 stars for its important moral and recommend it to anyone with a desire to see where life ends up within the next couple hundred years. @The_Reviewer of the Teen Review Board of the Hamilton Public Library

The movie is set in the future when Earth is no longer inhabited by humans, who now seem to live in ships where they have become extremely unhealthy. WALL-E is a robot who collects trash on Earth in order to clean it up. He is pretty lonely and only has a pet cockroach. One day, a robot named EVE is dropped off on Earth to find signs of life, and WALL-E falls in love with her. Similar to the way flowers are given to loved ones, WALL-E gives EVE a plant he found. EVE has completed her mission, unbeknownst to WALL-E. He follows her back onto a ship that arrives to retrieve EVE. The autopilot of the ship steals the plant so that humans do not return to Earth, but WALL-E, EVE, and others somehow try to retrieve it.

Wall-E highlights so much about friendship, unity, love and uniqueness that I can’t help but express my love for this movie. Yes, it seems like it will be boring and bland at the beginning but slowly you realize how much this movie matters and how much it will change your mindset about a lot of things. Wall-E is the sole machine left on Earth, and when Eve (another robot) arrives from a different planet to look for life on Earth… she meets Wall-E. The two become friends, but soon Eve is called back to her planet. Luckily for the two, their friendship doesn’t end there because Wall-E hitches onto Eve and follows her. This movie shows a lot of truth because when the planet is shown, we see humans, all obese, watching TV and eating junk food. It shows how the world could become and what we have already seen. It’s really mind changing and I highly recommend watching it. Trust me, its not the boring scenery you think it is. Rating 4.5/5

In 2805, Earth is covered in garbage due to decades of mass consumerism facilitated by the megacorporation Buy 'N Large. BnL evacuated Earth's population in fully automated starliners in 2105, leaving behind trash compactor Waste Allocation Load Lifter – Earth Class “WALL-E” robots to clean the planet, but they eventually stopped operating and Earth was left abandoned. One WALL-E unit has managed to remain active by repairing itself using parts from other broken units. It has also developed sentience, as with its regular duties it inquisitively collects artifacts of human civilization back to its storage truck home, has befriended a cockroach and enjoys listening to Hello, Dolly!
