Watched the first few episodes. Expected the series to unfold into some worthy of watching. I was seriously disappointed. I concur with the comments that state that it is nothing like the original graphic novel. The acting quality is quit high though. Just using that premise to inject yet another senseless sexual and violent waste of air time..........two stars at best.

I watched the first episode of this series, but couldn't get into it to watch more. I felt like was watching The Walking Dead (without the zombies), or Black Panther. There's lots of violence and cursing.

2* Did not like this series. Found it confusing and hard to follow. Why so much graphic sex for an action hero movie is beyond me. Also was quite violent. I watched 1 episode and that was enough for me.

Producer Damon Lindlehof remixed the graphic novel that had ALREADY been remixed from a handful of forgotten DC heroes. Tackling powerful issues with insight and skill, this is easily one of the best tv series of the year.

Well worth the long wait!!!!! Great acting. Awesome action scenes. Unpredictable twists. LOVED!!!

I really enjoyed this. I felt that it captured the feeling and essence of the "Watchmen" world that Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons created. I found that watching the interview from the New York Con, an extra which is found the Blu Ray. It helped me to know what they were thinking in creating this series. I'm not sure they can successfully pull off a sequel to this series and not entirely sure they should try. But you never know...

The original Watchmen graphic novel tells the violent story of several very imperfect superheroes in a disjointed way that doesn't fully make sense until its cathartic but slightly hopeful end. The same holds true for this Watchmen television series, which is set about 30 years later. Much of the content is disturbing and that is part of the point. If you wanted something literary to write an essay about, the original novel is an absolute treasure-trove of pervasive symbolism and themes; the tv series falls short of that but do stick it out to see how the broken pieces fit.

My goodness. This is a great series. I can see why Regina King won an Emmy for it. By now, it's understood that DC makes terrible movies but their Series and Cartoons are A+. This is about an Alternate Reality America, this is set in Tulsa, Oklahoma where Police are anonymous and superheroes are accepted in the police force.

There is ultraviolence so it's rated mature

Many quotes in the net. This is the conversation between Dr. Manhattan and Angela in ep. 8 "A God Walks into a Bar" P1 of 2:

-MANHATTAN: Seven decades later, and 390 million miles away, I fulfill my promise. I'm creating something beautiful. Within the pocket of atmosphere I synthesized, and before the very structures they lived and died in decades earlier, I made Adam and Eve, not in my own image, but in theirs.
ANGELA: I gotta tell you, man, you have a fantastic imagination. What, you got something caught in your throat?
-Six months from now, a friend is telling me I have a profound lack of imagination.
You have friends?
-Perhaps he's more of a colleague. He tried to kill me once.
Wonder why. So, tell me, if you went through all this trouble to create the Garden of Eden, then why'd you leave?
-So I could meet you.
Come on, man.
-I love you.
Oh! We just met. When the fuck did you fall in love with me?

Many quotes in the net. This is the conversation between Dr. Manhattan and Angela in ep. 8 "A God Walks into a Bar" P2 of 2:

-I was already in love with you.
Before you even saw me?
-I don't... experience the concept of "before."
So, there's no moment?
- Moment?
A moment. When you realize, "Oh shit, I'm in love." For example, I'm looking at you, hiding behind your mask, and I'm having the opposite of that moment. Hmm. You might be pretty good- looking if you didn't cover yourself in blue makeup.
-It's not makeup.
You're naturally blue.
-That's right.
I thought Dr. Manhattan glows.
-I could if I wanted to, but it would attract too much attention.
Come on. Nobody in here is gonna notice. Just glow a little bit.
-I'd rather you remain unsure before you agree to have dinner with me tomorrow night.
My blue friend, you think you may know all about me, but you have made a critical error in your approach. I hate Dr. Manhattan.
