There really is no plot and the CIA comes across as totally incompetent, having to rely on a civilian to do its work. Dino sure gets a lot of time off to flit about the world.
It’s like a Hardy Boys novel except for the booze and sex. Very juvenile.

I was going to post these exact words, thank you for typing my thoughts.
Stones movement to more involvement in CIA is a disaster. When Elaine died so did his story line.
"Stealth" and "treason" are the worst of his latest books.
Going back a few years he started writing crap.

The TCCL is one of the most unfriendly and difficult websites I have ever used.
