This is just overdone for me - the magic and fun/hilarity of the first one is gone, and this is pretty much just a long string of incredibly violent action sequences. I was ready for it to be over.

Wow, borrring. Too bad. The fight scenes went needlessly on and on and on. I sure hope #4 is a lot better, though it can't be much worse.

I've watched all 3 of the John Wick films. The first one had human interest. The 2nd was getting far-fetched for me. This barely held my interest.
I felt like I was in a video game where you move to the next 'winning' step as I was watching this film. The whole thing was surreal, but not in a cool way. It has become almost an emotionless barrage of killing people. There is a vast amount of killing and guns and blood. That's why I get the feeling of those 'war' vid games, where one scores points, and each fighter has to evolve to a more difficult level of fighting with each 'win', or kill. And, personally, I'm not against guns. It seems like a vid game with actors. It makes killing seem so easy, and removes the human element. Oh, but look. It is real so much of the time in our society right now.
I don't know if I am explaining this properly, but I did not really like the film. The way the story ended, there will be another 'John Wick". This film is not a good watch for those under 12 or 13 years of age. Too much cold-blooded killing and blood.

Okay, the first one was cool, the second watchable. Looked great in the previews but this franchise is getting long in the tooth. It is not dull, but I would have felt ripped off seeing it in the theater.

30 minutes of plot, 140 minutes of fighting. I have better uses for my time.

"Guns. Lots of guns."
The third entry in the ridiculously entertaining and ridiculously bloody action series, a key part of the Keanussaince (It's a thing.). People who say this is unnecessary or stupid are just missing the point. In the third chapter, John Wick kills people with guns, knives, antique weapons, his hands, and a horse. He fights from a motorcycle, he fights from a horse, he fights in New York, he fights in Casablanca, he fights on the street, he fights in a futuristic glass office. Ian McShane, Lance Riddick, and Laurence Fishburne reprise their roles, Halle Berry (who is really only in it for a few scenes) and Asia Dillon join the cast. "If you want peace, prepare for war."

Totally not necessary. Worried that they're gonna make a 4th one. It's really just not a series that needs to continue. First two were great, let's leave it as great, instead of ruining a good series.

Winston: I know you will do The Continental proud.

Charon: I'll see you soon, sir.

Winston: And you, Jonathan, do what you do best.

John Wick: What's that?

Winston: Hunt... Si vis pacem, para bellum!
