Add a CommentThe movie was okay. Not inspiring. Good boxing. I disliked how there was no sportsmanship shown in there. I didn't know what had happened between Rocky and his son, it was not explained. I liked how Dragoās dad didn't abandon him.
Not a movie to feel all giggly-goosey about.
You can tell this by the permanent pout and frown plastered on young Creed's face. His bitter obsession with his father's legacy stings and sours the whole film.
I actually feel a bit sorry for Dolph L. and his full-of-muscles movie progeny.
Creed 2 was a really good movie I really liked this movie because it was a movie about boxing, I also really liked this movie because I was a big fan of the first one. This movie was really great also because the movie showed us a better background of the main character and bit of the side characters. Without giving any spoilers, this movie is about a boxer and him fighting for his dad's legacy. He is going to take some on to avenge his father in a boxing match. I also really liked this movie because it showed us a good perspective on the people around him in the boxing match and what they were thinking while he was fighting. For these reasons I would give the movie a 5/5 rating. @Teen15 of the Hamilton Public Library Teen Review Board
was alright...only watched it because i saw the first movie
There's not a lot to criticize in this film, but there is not a lot to praise either. It is interesting enough. As a fan of the entire series of Rocky films, it feels very much like they are just recycling story lines. I liked the small glimpse into life for Ivan Drago after he got beat by Rocky. I was bothered by how much the baby's possible disability weighed on the characters. It gave the feel that ending up with that disability is awful. Maybe I am not giving the characters enough credit for merely being human, but it seemed pretty despicable to me. Otherwise, the acting was fine, the characters played their roles to further the Rocky story - it just seems so predictable.
Predictable but a man's movie to be watched and appreciated as such.
Do we need another Rocky/Adrienne romance????!!! Adonis/Bianca romance a bit to similiar to Rocky/Adrienne romance. In Creed 2, Adonis and Bianca should have broken up and Adonis fly solo. That would be much better than another Rocky/Adrienne romance played out by another actor and actress.
Meh. First Creed was better. This was very forced and lack luster.
The same old Rocky story...AGAIN. Not horrible, but not really worth wasting time on, unless you just like this sort of movie.
If you are the champ you don't take on vendetta challengers without talking boxing TV cable rights and who gets what cut. "I want to fight you" then boom there's a fight. Doesn't work that way. Pulls the same heartstrings as the original Rocky though. And that's okay for a nice sentimental boxing movie.
