I enjoyed these short stories, as I have done with all of Wilson's books. I'm sure there will be a lot of comparison to Bradbury's robot stories, but the different times the authors live(d) in make them similar, but unique. My favorite is "Miss Gloria," in which a nanny robot refuses to stop doing the job of protecting her charge.

THIS BOOK IS FREAKING ME OUT (in a good way)!!! Good golly, it reminds me of The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury. If robots are your thing--you've got to pick up this short story collection; also it's very small, good for fellow Transit Riders.

I love this author's writing so much!! I'm going out on a limb here (and NOT conducting a Google search) by saying he must have recently had a child (girl), since many of these stories revolve around them. His love of humanity and robots is in clear evidence within these pages.
