Interesting insight into a well-known family. Gloria is amazing and her age and life experiences have given all the benefit of perspective. Long live Gloria!

Great audiobook narrated by the authors, Gloria Vanderbilt (mom) and Anderson Cooper (son) asking the personal questions via email about family for better understanding of each other and themselves.

A very candid and insightful discussion between mother and her grown son. The voices of Anderson and Gloria reveal deep personal feelings which helps you get a closer and more intimate look at the lives of these influential people. For someone who usually avoids celebrity memoirs this was a interesting book about two people and those they love.

Anderson Cooper and Gloria Vanderbilt have a conversation about their lives, both as mother and son, and the people and events that helped shape them as people. It's the kind of conversation we should all have with our loved ones while we still have the opportunity. I connected strongly with the introspective nature of the book and how it connected with the act of sharing personal, interconnected narratives. I highly recommend the audiobook version.
