"Welcome to Leith chronicles the attempted takeover of a small town in North Dakota by notorious white supremacist Craig Cobb. As his behavior becomes more threatening, tensions soar, and the residents desperately look for ways to expel their unwanted neighbor. With incredible access to both longtime residents of Leith and white supremacists, the film examines a small community in the plains struggling for sovereignty against an extermist vision."--Contatiner.

Chronicle of the absurd attempt by a white supremacist to take over a tiny town in North Dakota. He buys plots at low prices and gifts them to other white supremacists. His idea is that the town, Leith, is in driving distance of the Bakken Formation oil fields. So plenty of jobs, plenty of land, a genuine Lebensraum, no? No. You have to watch the documentary to see how the wheels come off. It's a well-made movie.

Dec 26 2016.....Disturbing. I feel that I don't really want to know that this kind of thing is going on, ......but it is important that I know. This could happen anywhere. We need more documentaries like this....so thanks? I'm not going to bed tonight with a warm fuzzy feeling, that's for sure!

I think of Trainspotting (the movie) - did it show the dangers of heroin or promote the glory of it? I, like the mayor, learned something new about what organizations are out there and the hatred they promote. The strategy of Cobb and his ilk, though, is impressive. The countermeasure from the people of Leith is just as impressive. I'm now looking for the magazine from the Southern Poverty Law people - is Canada next...or is this harsh racism already here? Excellent documentary.

Offers some ideas about how city neighborhoods might be able to force out gangs causing them trouble, though they might not be white supremists.

Interesting documentary.

Invites some interesting questions. As I cheered on the townspeople's efforts to expel these hateful people, I had to ask myself the uncomfortable question, "How is this different from chasing out a different kind of minority?"

What a fascinating and scary look at what happens when white supremacists invade a very small town and try to take over; a disturbing and riveting documentary!

a very interesting look into the White Sypremist movement in Leith, Dakota. Disturbing. Filmed as events took place.

Powerful! The townspeople come off as genuine and human. Perhaps it is a positive sign that this sort of racism is unacceptable even in one of the smallest most isolated corners of the United States. I had a sense of un-easiness throughout
