Too political.

I didn't think it was as good as most of the other books by Freeman.

"Shady politics, hidden agendas, and love both current and dated swirl together amidst an approaching hurricane in Freeman's pounding thriller. Third party candidate for governor Diane Fairmont is close to winning the election just as her husband was ten years ago. He didn't win because of a masked murderer. Now threats against Daine are springing up. It's up to sometimes-cop Cab Bolton to get to the bottom of what happened so many years ago, protect Diane, and sort through lies and deception in this ferocious read."
