When, at first glance, one sees pop-singer Pat Benatar, they would hardly ever expect that such a diminutive and light-weight woman as this could ever possibly possess such an impressive set of power-house vocal-chords as hers.

Born in Brooklyn, NY (1953) - Pat Benatar (a 4-time Grammy Award winner) was originally trained to sing in opera. But, instead (with her dynamic mezzo-soprano voice) Benatar opted for rock'n'roll (singing it in her own unique, heart-felt way).

Throughout the 1980s Benatar repeatedly hit us with her best shots and scored a string of memorable, hard-rocking hit songs.

This "Best Of" CD contains 10 tracks in all. And, yes, it sure misses out on including some of Benatar's really big hits - But, all the same, it is still worth a listen. (*Watch music video*)
