We all know about the pink suit. We all know that Mrs. Kennedy dressed impeccably. But where exactly did her clothes come from? A great historical fiction novel.

Some pages can get very technical: if you are into sawing, you'll enjoy them , if not, keep a dictionary handy , for ex, check what a "toile" is , an essential element in the book.
A pink novel indeed, not red ( a romance, subtle sexual contents), not white ( biting & harsh comments that will probably offend Jacqueline Kennedy 's fans & Irish Catholics).
Ms Kelby 's mastering of metaphors & symbolism is very impressive.
