I loved the intense suspense and action of this book. Slow but it defys all doubts. I couldn't put it down. Fans of this book should check out Suzanne Weyn's Invisible World. I really hope there's a second one!!

The plot of the story is interesting, new and great. At first I wasn't completely captivated but as more things were unveiled it got better. Recommended.

I found the cover quite interesting and that's what actually prompted me to give this book a shot. I have to say that I didn't particularly care for the present tense narration but the store was somewhat interesting. I really hoped that the story would come to its end in the one volume, alas, there are more to come. I am not sure if I will continue. Perhaps only to discover the good sister saddled with the evil side of the prophecy resolution. This was a good twist. One of the very few. Many parts were predictable and language cumbersome.

This was one of the best books I have evr read. Of course it was pretty slow at th start but once you get into it it's really good. I can't wait to start the third book which I am currently waiting for. But it definetly is worth a try no matter what!!

I'm generally pretty tolerant of slow starts, but I found this book impossible to get into. Add that to the fact that the formality of the era drove me nuts and you don't get a very good combination, for me at least. There are so many other books out there; this one isn't worth trying.

Honestly I thought this book was quite boring in the beggining but as the chapters progressed it got quite intresting and wanted you to read more. However I have read better and this would be in the bottom five of the books that wouldnt be my first choice. Please don't blame me this is only my opinion.
