"Starflight looked as though someone had just asked him whether breathing was really necessary. "You don't have any scrolls?" he gasped. "Don't you read? Do you really not read? Not anything?"
Jambu shrugged apologetically. "I'm not sure what you're talking about."
Starflight had to sit down and fold his wings over his head for a minute." - The Hidden Kingdom

Summary
Add a SummaryGlory is excited to finally meet her tribe! But the RainWings are not at all what she expected. They really are lazy fruit-eaters! They basically just sleep - and eat. That's it! Glory was like, "Don't you have more important things to do?" and her brother Jambu was like, "Nope!" They didn't even care that fourteen (yes, FOURTEEN) RainWings were missing! The queen was like, "They'll show up. Dragons usually do." Well, of course Glory didn't believe that! She goes on a epic quest to find them - but finds herself as a RainWing prisoner in the NightWings' secret kingdom. Will the missing RainWings ever be found? Will Glory be safe? Read this book to find out!
Glory feels that the other tribes are labeling her tribe incorrectly. "Lazy" isn't her tribe. If she isn't lazy, her tribe can't be, right? After all, the five dragonets of destiny are trying to find a safe place to hide. But will this be the place? RainWings are disappearing at an alarming rate, and the queens aren't doing anything to help. What can Glory do to help? Well, maybe not bringing Deathbringer into it, for sure. In this book, find the true family of Glory, her tribe, its secret, and why dragons are disappearing. Read on!
The five dragonets of destiny are hoping that the RainWing village will be a safe place to hide- but they are wrong. RainWings are mysteriously disappearing, and the queen doesn't care. In order to help the kidnapped RainWings, Glory must become RainWing queen. But will she and her fellow RainWings be able to overthrow the other queens?
A Rainwing, Glory, finally meets her tribe. She competes to become queen when the original queen does not take action when more and more Rainwings are kidnapped.

This book is about ādragons Glory, Clay, and Tsunami wanting to visit their homes and maybe find āGlory's family in the Rainforest. When Glory is visiting her new homeā, a lot of interesting things happen. What I liked about this book is that the author throws a lot of interesting surprises at us. I do not like that the book is kind of short. I recommend for readers that they should read the first 2 books before they read this one.
I liked this book it's really good! My favorites characteristic about Glory is how passionate she is about her tribe and the rainforest. She is not like the other Rainwings. My favorite about the book is when queen magnificent was really upset when Glory became queen.
The hidden kingdom is definitely one of the best wings of fire books! Glory and Kinkajou are some of my all time favourite characters in the wings of fire series not to mention Jambu, Tamrin, Mangrove and Liana.
Though Rainwings start out lazy they really are amazing dragons with camouflage scales, venom, and cleverly crafted sleeping dart shooters!
I recommend this book to everyone into fantasy adventure of ages nine to twelve but mind you, read to books before this otherwise, spoiler alert!
Long live Queen Glory!!
LOVE THIS BOOK! one of my reasons is that it has LOTS of sarcasm, and i like sarcasm!
Good read, Glory is definitely a strong character. If i were to be a dragon in this book, i would probably be a RainWing because Kestrel says and I quote: "Rainwings are lazy". Overall, good book.
It is so awesome! I can't stop reading.

I loved it when queen magnificent or whatever her name is got really angry when glory became queen
Queen Glory of the Rainwings
Sorry for the people who like the other books because this is definetely my fvaourite book out of all of the wings of fire so far! Parents - get your children to read these. They are a bit gruesome at times and the first is slightly boring but overall the series is one that I will get all my children and their children to read when I am old. 100 million out of ten for this book and the wings of fire! Three cheers for Tui T Sutherland for imagining this great fantasy world of dragons!
