A fabulous introduction to the life and popular music of Haydn, with short excerpts played by world class musicians and conductors, such as Emmanual Ax, Ronald Brautigam and Roger Norrington. Production values are first class and shot on location where Haydn lived or visited in Austria and England. Haydn is compared to Mozart and Beethoven. Length of program is 102 minutes, and it goes quickly.
