Heartbreakingly beautiful. I would suggest this novel to anyone who has known a suicidal person, or had a close encounter themselves. I finished this in class, and had to hold back my tears...

This book was amazing, i couldn't put it down and i loved every bit of it.....till the end. The ending for me was to sad, to true of an ending for me to fully enjoy. I don't think i would reccomend it unless you are fully prepared to cry your eyes out at the end.

A very fast-paced, gripping tale of harrowing survival. It skimmed the surface a bit too much for my tastes and I would have liked it better with more depth, but it was certainly exciting, escapist fun. Unfortunately, I found Jane's depression and suicidal tendencies more believable than either her survival tale or her romance. Three stars because I think there will be plenty of readers who connect with and really enjoy it that I can recommend it to, even if it didn't particularly move me.

I'm a planner, as I've said a few times already, and if I don't know exactly what's ahead of me, I lose my s***. That's probably why I'm [in a mental institution]. Life is impossible to plan, so I'm constantly losing my s***. One minute things are good, the next somebody dies or gets sick or stops being your friend. You can't count on anyone or anything, which makes life difficult if you're a planner.
