Spy school is the first book to an 8th part series. It has plot twists and turns. All I'm trying to say is that you will love reading it!
Stuart Gibbs does a really good job with his books!!!!!
I liked that it was surprising and has lots of plot twists
BEST SERIES EVER !!!!
SPY SCHOOL BOOK REVIEW
This book is elaborately detailed. All the answers to what characters seek are in the words. It takes a true brain to decode these messages. As you get further into the series, you identify "the cream of the cream of the cream" (Evil Spy School quote), and realize how dangerous some weapons are. Ben Ripley is more of an unexpected hero (we did graphic novels on these during school), and Stuart Gibbs frames him as a lesser person than some others. He also demonstrates a sense of mystery by the fact of Murray Hill and Chip Schacter, and their plot twist.
The way each character is represented is intense, for instance, Warren Reeves has a skill in camouflage, and the way it connects back to that fact. Or the way Erica Hale is called Ice Queen and it always goes back to her cold or icy stare.
People eleven years and above will enjoy and understand this book.

In the form of suspense and comedy, Spy School has blown my mind!! This book is good for all ages and is sure to be loved by everyone.
Super engaging! From the very first chapter I was hooked and couldn't put it down! Definitely had major surprises (which is good), especially with the ending and the way the characters turn out, for better or for worse. The conclusion made me satisfied, but hungry for more, which is exactly how books in a series are supposed to work! This is a pretty long series, but, in order:
Spy School,
Spy Camp,
Evil Spy School,
Spy Ski School,
Spy School Secret Service, and
Spy School Goes South.
I would definitely recommend these books to anyone with a taste for mysteries, spying/secret agents, action, cliff hangers, awesome skills, and a whole lot more.
