Animals and profit generally mean exploitation and this book illustrates that with numerous true-life examples. This will make you think twice about paying for entertainment involving animals.

Great information from a Canadian author. Full of stunning pictures, this book makes the case why animals trapped or bred for entertainment is wrong, whether it is the circus, TV, zoos, rodeos, photo sessions, marine parks, racing, or bloodsports. Great examples of where improvements have been made in animal protection. It is a new book, and even since it was published, bullfighting has been banned in Spain. A good read for young and not-so young readers, especially those who care about animals in entertainment. We need a book like this that focuses on farm animals, too. This book even talks about the falconer that raised owls for the Harry Potter movies, who was convicted on 17 charges of cruelty in 2009.
