The Clans are never at peace - even though sometimes the cats may think they are. Tensions are rising among the cats, and some mysterious cat is helping ThunderClan. Shadows are lurking in the background and it only takes one cat set Clan against Clan, warrior against warrior.
As a full-scale battle against the Dark Forest moves closer, tensions between the warrior Clans reach a breaking point. Suddenly, a stranger appears in ThunderClan's midst, spinning a web of deceit and pitting the warriors against each other so that no cat can tell who to trust.

"We have to let the warrior code rule our hearts. The death of a warrior does not mean victory."
"Never! Not until I have destroyed everything the Clans stand for. Many seasons ago, I knew another one of your Clans, far away in a gorge. They scorned me too; they told me I wasn't good enough to be one of their precious warriors! So I vowed to prove to all of you that the warrior code means nothing. In the end, you will kill each other for reasons that aren't worth so much as a mousetail."-Sol
