Despite its reputation, this isn't a great reference; there are only a very few, low qualtiy photographs, and the text isn't particularly specific about anything. One would think that it should have detailed information about the various types of arms and armour used by the Greeks, but in fact it doesn't- everything is very, very general and of little real use in any study of the subject.
