A bizarre tale to say the least but I found it mildly entertaining and as a dark book at least it ends well.

Agree with the bleak evaluation of this bleak novel. Reviewers talk about black comedy and "exuberance" of this 1st novel. The audiobook reader does not seem to have understood this . She turns the whole thing into a thousand sentences…
